Our Hotpoint Wf320 is filling up with water (too much) then eventually draining slightly but making a strange noise whilst doing so then the pre wash light and on/off button is flashing. Then nothing happens. We have cleared the filter at the back of the machine but it's still not working. Any ideas???

need to check pressure switch and pressure hose for splits.also check for blockage in the pressure switch air chamber and bottom hose
