My thomson 32" rear projection television standby light has started flashing,when it does this the tv can't be switched on.It takes numerous attempts of switching off at the plug or at the side of the tv and trying different combinations of turning the tv and sky box on in different sequences but never the same,have been able to get it to come on eventually but couldn,t this morning,help have two kids that like cartoons!!!!!

Hi Clare,
I have the 44"tw 611 s with the same problem but it will no longer come on,you will find the green light is flashing a self diagnoses code i,e,6 flashes to 1 flash or 8 flashes to 9 flashes.
I contacted Thompson via there web site email, they will recommend a repair shop.Unfortunately for me it was to far for me,i am still trying to get repaired locally.
