changing door seal on fridge freezer Indesit IN c 265 A1 UK?

We bought a new seal for both fridge and freezer doors for our built in Indesit IN c 265 A1, but we find it doesn't come off easily and seems to be connected to the plastic front and insulation. What do we do? did they send us the wrong part?
