Electrolux ZUA3860 Vacuum Cleaner stop working after couple of minutes, vacuum speed alternates between 2 & 3, need to power off and power back on, works for another minute and stops again

The machine could be overheating. Check for clogs, make sure the brushroll is still spinning. Does it smell "hot" or give any other sort of symptoms?
