Sound is going in and out on my TV?

I have a Philips 55" TV - Model #55PL9524/37
The sound cuts out after watching the tv for 30-60 minutes. I can turn the power off and on...the sound will come back but then cut out again in a shorter amount of time.

Only guessing it could be what's known as a 'dry joint' a solder joint that needs to be re-soldered.
Failing that an electronic component fault.
