technics sa-ch550. when I connect the red and yellow audio leads from the phono socket to my dvd player. then press phono, the sound is terrible. its all muffled and doesn't come through properly. what am I doing wrong?.
Too much signal from the DVD into the phono connection causing distortion. Try plugging it into the DAT connection. Had the same problem connecting my computer to phone but fine in DAT.
