microgenius 27 mffi ignition fault?

can hear the ignition spark but boiler doesnt fire. Press the reset and it will fire second time. Once boiler is warm it seems to fire ok. any ideas dont want to throw bits at it

i would clean the spark elctrode with sand paper see if that helps. otherwise my money would be the gas valve is on its way out
