my machine fills with water when not in use or switched on, i checked drain and its draining ok also cleared any debris , this happens all the time , it washes , spins and drains great when in use

Is the drain hose connected under a sink as water from the sink or an adjoining dishwasher can get forced in to the machine.If it is on a stand alone waste pipe this will not be the issue.check the water supply is good pressure to the appliance and that the hose doesn't kink when you push it back to the wall.if that is ok suspect the inlet valve/s
