I bought two sets of 2 Clarity XL 40D phones (for hearing impaired folks) and so far, three of them were delivered but defective.
The online dealer (Amazon) actually sent me two "new" ones and told me to keep the two malfunctioning phones

Of that batch, only one worked.
I figured it can't be THAT hard to fix a corded phone, so I could use some help
