How can I repair my AIWA 3 CD changer FM/tape shelf unit(model CX-NA31) so it can recognize and play CDs again. It can't find any tracks on any CDs loaded into any of the 3 drives. It can play the tapes and FM fine.

As I was looking uo some info on an AIWA product that has a 3 cd changer as well as a double cassette player9and, of course the AM and FM radio( I was shocked to see that you migth be interested in more info ona similas product. I own a AIWA nsx-V9090 and know where to get a new remote control and a new operation manual fo very little money. I already have a kick ass stereo connected toa similas surround system and all the new bells ans whistles so have no need for the Aiwa any longer. I am interested in getting rid of it fo csah or a trade for a new bed/comfotor. duvet, and sheet set. II have found several at places like Target, KMart and Walmat etc. I do not drive due to heavy chemo drugs so do all my shopping online but would not balk at a morning run around to RARoss or Marshalls where things are cheaper is slightly irregular. If some thin could be worked out with us I will buy the new remote and the mamual for you. Strange request, but copletely legit and I have many local refrences as I grew up here and went to Forrest high School. I am 56, reliable and good for my word. try cleaning the Laser lens with a cotton bud dipped in vodka then dab off any excess with another clean dry one and allow to dry for a few minutes

David don't feel alone your problem is not unique, I have the same problem and my son's aiwa does too.

Just wish I could find some answers, what to look for, or a place to buy a relacement player for my unit.
