Fault 30 Aeg dishwasher?

Water is coming from a small open tube from the cassette which is tripping the float. Can you advise me on why this is happening and how to fix this. Many thanks.

Fault code 30 means water in lower tray has trigggered microswitch flood alarm. Water probably from circ or drain pump. Remove panel side and watch for drips when running. Dripping pumps likely to be just the seal, which wears a little in normal use and requires a little more compression force to seal properly. Disassemble pump and add a half mm thick spacer behind seal. a stainless washer is ideal. It will work Ok now, good use of 1 hour of your time
