how to fix inside central locking on door of transit connect 08 passenger door

PS, not sure of your actual fault but the inner escutcheon on the outer door handle has a spring and pin assy which are bad for seizing causing locking issues,maybe worth a look also.

I take it is the complete lock assy which incorporates the wiring etc you are on about. Remove door card,three 8 mm bolts holding window channel,drill out anti theft cover rivets,remove wiring connector,remove large horse shoe clip on barrel,insert key and turn while pushing in plunger on inside of barrel in the door, once plunger is in it should turn and pull out,remove the 3 torx bolts holding the lock assy and it should pull down to release cables etc,rebuild in reverse,remember to refit a/theft cover.
