How can I repair a small tear in the green membrane below Nokia 6600 keypad?

I have a Nokia 660 which I attempted to change the cover of but upon removal of the fascia with a screw driver, a tear occurred just below the keypad where the charger/ headphone socket meets the bottom of the key pad. The tear is 3/4mm in the green ribbon/ membrane which connects the PCB with the keypad and housing.

The phone still makes and receives calls as normal and all numeric keys and joystick work but the 4 hot keys which control the main menu access are dead so i cant access any other functions. A good phone would be a shame of having to get rid of it. Please help guys as i have tried to seal the tear by taping it which dont work, Any idea on the part i need to replace? (The green ribbon / membrane sits just below the white undercover of the keys and just above the charger socket.

Please email to:- denmark786@aol.com

Thanks,
