Hotpoint Aquarius WMA40 Fault?

I have Hotpoint Aquarius WMA40 washing machine. It appears to start filling up with water but then pauses, doesnt spin then ALL the lights come on flashing from left to right then from right to left in sequence repeatedly. Any ideas?
