Hotpoint aqaultis won't wash?

The machine lights up, fills but won't 'wash'. It will spin but just not wash. I have sent the CPU back to be reset. They suggested a new motor, which I have just fitted but it's exactly the same. I have checked continuity between the processor and the motor and it's fine. Any ideas because I'm baffled (and it's getting expensive!)

Thank you for your input MM.
You have no idea about my qualifications so kindly keep your opinions to yourself (and yes, I had already checked the water level meter, and yes the water heater was turning on)
I finally tracked down the fault. I went back to the wiring between the CPU and inlet solenoids. Continuity was fine. SO I got a pin and teased out the contacts in the plastic connector housings. They're very fine so it needs a light touch. I reconnected everything and the machine sprang back into life.
Even taking into account the cost of parts I saved myself a small fortune in repair bills, as I live in France where such services are very expensive indeed.

serves you right for working on something you don't understand, you have no idea how to check your machine, when water enters the drum it fill to the 1rst level depending on the prog, once water level is reached it trips a pressure switch does two things, turns on heater and motor have you tested the pressure switch ??its a round thing with a thin hose going to the sumo hose or pump assm
