For some reason my unit is not giving the synopsis information on individual recordings. The synopsis box pops up ok but there is no information showing on any program. I have tried retuning the unit to no avail. Any ideas???
If I switch the aerial direct to the TV, thus bypassing the recorder unit, I get get the program information on the digital tv ok so it is certainly nothing to do with the aerial

Your freeview recorder is Top Up TV recorder. Top Up TV use to broadcast a 14 day epg, but permanently ceased broadcasting on 1st November 2013.

It has the capability of using the standard freeview epg.

Unfortunately the user manual for the Thompson DTI 6021 does not give details of how to turn on what it refers to as the standard freeview 7 day epg. However, other people have reported on-line that they have successfully looked through Top Up TV records’ on screen menus and found the setting to change.

Immediately after changing the setting so that the 8 day epg is used please be patient. It will take time before all the epg is populated without any gaps.
