As above I get the ERR 1 display on power up - it clears when I open the lid and close again. after that the first couple of selections scans and picks up the record but the turntable does not start to turn - by manually turning the turntable it plays abeit slowly at first - by the 3rd or 4th selection it then works fine until the next switch on ? any clues please
