My machine turns on, and seems to start up when I close the door but after a few seconds stops. Nothing happens. Any ideas???

You need to check water is on and getting to the dishwasher inlet valve and check the inlet hose isn't kink.you then need to test the inlet valve with a multimeter.Then things from there in get deep and involved.blockages,pressure switch,door switch,water counters,timers,electronics,antiflood etc etc
