why does the soap dispenser overflow and leak outside when i use washing powder in it. but does not if i use detergents which you put in the washer drum.
maybe you have a partial blockage from the powder tray, I suggest you remove the tray completely and check the outlet etc for undissolved powder. This usually fixes tray overflowing faults.
