Trying to clean out pump filter on Beko WM 5100 W washin machine?

Hi I have a Beko WM 5100 W washing machine. I am trying to remove the pump filter from behind the kick plate at bottom of machine. It turns to release any water out but when I try to turn it again to loosen it, it won't turn any more to loosen and remove.

Thanks CK, Just incase it does break, what do I ask for when going to get a replacement?

probably stuck in due to you not checking it regular.unscrew it anticlockwise as far as you can then pull and push filter and pray to god it eventually comes out.I have had to break them out and replace.luckily they aren't that expensive.check filter monthly to stop it happening again
