Cello, fingerboard skewed neck?

OK, but the neck to my cello is skewed, but the fingerboard is flat. So, I don't think the instrument has much value, given the cost to repair/replace the neck. I would like to sell the beast to a memorabilia collector as it was owned by a celebrity. Since the surfaces are not flush, I think a thicker glue might fill the gap better; and, I would like it to be removable if someone wanted to repair it correctly. I understand that hide glue is preferred, but would hot glue, white/wood glue or rubber cement work better in this situation?
