Hi, my 12 year old eurocal oil combi boiler has been troublesome for some time.
1. water pressure goes high ,boiler cuts out.

2. it blows hot water out through the pipe in the wall.

I have changed the pressure vessel & the safety release valve.

IS it the heat exchanger ?,would have tried changing it,but can not find a supplier.
