Hi all . We seem to have 2 issues, but Im not sure if theyre linked. We have a RDJ10RF remote.
The initial problem was that our boiler was just randomly starting up in themiddle of the night. Usually around 4 or 5 a.m. But never at the same time or at the same temperature. At that point turning the dial on the remote wouldnt stop the boiler.
This seemed to start just after i changed the time on the remote when the clocks went back an hour recently.
During the day we can turn the dialler on the remote to switch the boiler off /on, so it is talking to the receiver in a fashion.
I have also now noticed that the timer on the remote doesnt work i.e. boiler doesnt come on /off at preset times.
Do you think its all related to the remote , or do we have a boiler issue as well.
Is there a way of disconnecting the transmitter , to see if the boiler still kicks in over night ?

Without going through the program its difficult arriving at any particular problem,If you scroll through the on off times to check they are right, also the comfort and setback temperatures ie on the moon setting make sure its set low enough so as not to bring on boiler in the night

I was loathe to start playing with the settings on the transmitter in case it knocked the boiler out altogethor.
Will there be controls on the boiler as well to enable it to switch the water/ heating off and on ?
The boiler is under warranty with Worcester , but unfortunately they did say they dont support the remote.
I guess it depends on the engineer wether he will have a play with it to ensure its set up right.
I was impressed that Worcester said their lead ime for engineers was 2-3 days.

your best chance would be to reset everything back to default setting and starting again making sure you don't overlap times
