zoostorm e5700?

How do I install a new graphics card?
Lauren, December 2013
You can't install a new graphic card in a laptop. There is just no extention slot in any laptop.

There are some USB cards that you can connect to an available USB port.

But, it looks like the zoostorm e5700 is a desktop, not a laptop... (in this case, you should have asked in Desktop PCs or Hardware)

Turn the computer OFF and DISCONNECT the power cord. Push the power button for a seccond.

You need this tool: A phylips screwdriver.

Open the left side pannel.
If there is a green LED glowing inside, DISCONNECT the power from the wall or the power strip and push the power button for a seccond or untill that LED goes dark!

The video card is normaly the top one. It may have a built-in video card.

Look if it have a PCIe slot. The connector is resceced from the normal PCI connectors. It also have a kind of retaining clip on the end toward the front of the computer.

If there is a video card already in place, remove it. Detach the video cable, remove the retaining screw, or lift the retaining clip on the back, and gently pull the card up while gently pulling the front retaining clip. (if it's a PCI card, there is no front retaining clip)

If it have a PCIe slot, get any PCIe video card.
Remove the back slot cover.
Insert the card in it's connector. Connect any needed auxiliary power cable.

If it DON'T have any PCIe slot, get a PCI card and install it as above.

Windows 7 will automaticaly discover and identify the card and install the required drivers. If needed, it will download them.
