How can I stop Baxi Solo 2PF making noises?

Could you advise me why my heating system makes very loud banging noises two or three times a day. It sounds like the pipes are "clanking" throughout the house. I have tried bleeding the radiators but hasn't helped. Now there is no power to the boiler, thermostat or the little box where you set the time etc. The boiler is a Baxi Solo 2pf. Please help as it is getting very cold!! Thanks

I had the same problem recently. One radiator in the system should have no TRV. If all rads reach temp and stop flowing, the pump cannot return water through the system, thus the pipes bang and clang and the boiler overheats as the hot water cannot leave the boiler. Bypass valves are sometimes fitted, but you're better off removing the TRV head from the bathroom rad and leaving it at that.
