Yesterday the boiler itself wouldnt fire, and at first I thought it was the pilot had gone out, since found out i hasn't one. I refiled the system using the black stopcock underneath the boiler, but im unsure of what pressure it should run at and when it gets to 1.5 bar the system shuts down completely. above 1.5 bar it works as normal , but loses pressure over time.... goes below the red line threshold and then wont fire again?

pressure vessel needs replacing but be careful it could also be the heat exchanger plate has a slight crack in it

you have a leak somewhere in the system check all your rads and pipework or your expansion vessel needs recharging or split.
