Li-ion rechargeable battery care tips:
Never EVER leave a battery totaly discharged for any lenght of time. You MUST recharge a totaly drained battery IMMEDIATELY! A drained battery will irrevocably die after less than a week. A day is already to long and will dramaticaly reduce it's autonomy.
It's preferable to recharge the battery as soom as the charge drops under 5%.
DON'T leave a full battery on the charger to long. Leaving the charger connected once the battery is recharged will damage the battery. Put the battery on the charger for the night, and disconnect the charger before breakfast.
Refrain from recharging the battery to often. Wait untill the remaining charge is around 10% before recharging. Never recharge it if the charge is over 75%.
When in storage, the battery will slowly loose it's charge. It's NORMAL! Recharge a stored battery about once every 6 months.
