Zanussi Jet System Excel 1250

Washes OK but water does not empty. Drained machine to try and spin clothes. Spin starts it's slow redistribute running tries to speed up say about 100 rpm but no more.

Normal operation it gradually spins up to speed which makes me think it is the motor frequency controller not working properly.

Any other ideas and possible cost?

a common mistake made by a lot of people is jumping to the most unlikely first. Start with the easiest and most obvious first. The draining. Remove & check the drain pump. If it looks old or sounds noisy replace it. Get the draining working properly and the rest will sort itself out.

no drain no spin.check the drain pump impeller rotates freely and the windings are good

Sounds like motor maybe burnt out? Have U checked filter Also is empty pipe conected to sink pipe in cupboard maybe blocked there?Good hunting ...Larry...
