Have you checked the turbo? Remove the inlet hose and feel for play/wear in the impeller,check inlet hoses for splits also,are the filters clean and up to date?Are any brakes seized on ? I know of some transits where all they needed were an update to increase performance etc which would need to go to a Ford dealer for that. Just some things to check,good luck
