Of couse my bissell proheat pet carpet cleaner stopped spraying just like the last two bissell carpet cleaners I've owned. When i pushed the trigger to get spray it seemed as if it was the trigger that was not working. I tore the handle apart and the trigger mechanism has a spring that looks like it was not making contact with some piece that somehow makes the spray. It appears that there is a small notch that this spring must be under in order for the trigger to operate properly. The problem is this. The spring is too large to fit in the small space where this notch is located. I know this is not a very technical explanation of what i found but if anyone else has experienced this spring problem, please let me know if there is a spring that is the correct size that i can purchase. My carpets really need to be cleaned.
