Hoover 1600 washer burning smell?

Please can you confirm to me what it means when my washer makes a really loud sound (like something is loose and a bit rattly) when on fast spin.. then when i remove washing from drum, the drum has a burning smell.. I need to know what this could be and is this something that can be mended, or will i need to get a new washer.. Please confirm to me asap

Some do and some don't . Pick up a phone and phone them and ask. If they say that they do, then ask how much. If it is too expensive then say no thanks and hang up. Simple.

More likely to be the bearings going on it and allowing the drum to rub against the rubber seal. If it is that then yes it will be an expensive job. Complete strip down of the machine to access the seal & bearings. Without seeing the machine & listening to the noise all we can do is guess. Best for you to get someone out to see it and give you a quote. Then decide what to do. Repair or replace.
