Without seeing the motor my guess is it will be hydraulically operated and will be very heavy,you will need to isolate the electrics,remove the pump etc and unbolt the lift which I take is bolted to the chassis,not a five minute job.I don`t know what it says on your V5 but it is possible the ministry will need to know change of usage,etc.
