I have bought a very old sharp xea110 all working apart from the paper doesn't push through - even tried using the 'arrow up' button makes plenty of noise and I can see a spindle turning (near the ink cartridge) but there must be something else I'm missing? Replaced batteries with new.
Usually the rubber feed roller in the back of the printer has perished. Very common. You replace the whole printer. Will cost about half the price of a new register so only worthwhile if it is a tidy machine.
