Cordless Drill Charger Failure?

I purchased Workzone 14.4vCordlessHammer Drill from ALDI, after one year aprox; the battery charger has failed the model No is WWCD 14/132
Drill No e7C3046/209/724. Question, can the charger be repaired and at what cost? Or will it neeed to be replaced again at what cost?

I take it you are in UK. If so check out 'sale of goods act' this may come in line with 'reasonable expected service' even if the warranty has expired.
Give Aldi the chance by contacting them as they were the retailer, and under retailing laws in UK sale of goods act its their responsibility to change or repair the unit at their cost.
