Your machine will have an out of balance lever & switch but that in no way will cause loss of power. You have one of two things happened. Either the drain pump has failed which is part of the power supply to the control panel. Failure of the pump will cause loss of power on the panel. Secondly, and more likely is that the main control board has shorted out and will have to be replaced. A test with a multimeter would quickly tell which it is. If you don't have one then best to get a service company out to tell you. No use guessing. If the board has died you have to test everything anyway to find out why it shorted out before the new board is fitted and turned on.
