Our Bosch logixx 8 has started to flood on draining. Is this easy to fix?

Is this a fault that we can check and fix ourselves?

there is a small pipe that goes from the drum - top right hand - to the drain hose - just INSIDE washer where the outlet hose comes out the back right hand side of the washer) ELECTRIC OFF then top off washer. the pipe is about 20cm long ish and 6mm wide. They can get blocked and pop off then every time it drains, water pours out. Best to fit a new one if this happens as ends can sometimes loosen, clean pipe out if using same one, but dont cut some off as there needs to be a certain amount of allowable movement for 'drum swing' or it will get pulled off.

maybe this will help someone out, April 2014
If it leaks only when it drains out must be the drain hose split if it is the machine . If the drain hose goes into a standpipe it could be the standpipe overflowing due to a blockage.
