Miele W723 Front Load Door will not close and lock?

I have a Miele W723 Front Loader washing machine that was working perfectly but today when I have gone to put a load on the door will not close. The power plug is on....am unsure what the problem can be??? Are you able to offer any suggestion? I am located in Brisbane Australia.
