Peugeot 206 lights,horn indicator problem?

I have a 206 1.4 2002 model ,the lights are permenantly on and the horn and indicators only work if I rotate the stalk (as if turning the lights on) because of this I assume it's not the stalk itself, is this likely to be expensive ? Or could there be an easy fix ?

Thx chicks , haven't had a chance to look at the site yet,as long as there's no fear of the air bag goin off I will give it go ;)

Repair it yourself. It's usually a build up of metal swarf due to wear over the years. There's a "how to" here:-

It is a common problem with the 206,you have to replace the whole stalk unit, it is called a COMMS 2000 unit and will set you back about £200.They can't be repaired and a scrapyard part will be as bad as yours.Look up COMM2000 on this site "search" and get more info.
