how can i fix my nokia 6822 flip keypad?

i recently bought a brand new nokia 6822. (its the one with the flip up bit at the front so u can turn it side ways to make a keyboard) the flip up keypad has stopped working, and neither the front or inside of the flip work. anybody got any suggestions?
