fix broken table lamp switch?

I have an antique lamp and the push lever to turn on the light has stopped working. I detached it from the lamp, but there isn't any way to get to the insides without popping the rivets. I can see a spring inside, which I believe is not seated properly... any ideas or photos of the insides or how to re-seat the spring?

Thank you. I ended up replacing the switch today... it cost $3.69 at my LHS. Now, I'm going to take the old one apart just for curiosities sake. ;)

When those switches stop working, the usual and normal procedure is to replace them. The usual cause they stop working is worn out contacts. Worn out contacts just can't be repaired.
Those swtiches are not that expensive after all... Usualy, from about $0.75 to about $1.50.
