Diplomat ADP 8902 - stuck in cycle "Heavy"?

Built in Diplomat ADP 8902 (Type 12150) has recently started playing up.

1st problem: Running a normal cycle (middle selection, which I believe is "Light Wash"). I noticed later that it had stopped and it showed fault code with 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th lights on and it had not drained. I proceeded to check the filter, pour boiling water through it, and perform a reset (power off, then power on, press select button 4 times quickly, then select the 1st cycle, turn off, wait, turn on). I then ran a rinse cycle and all was well.

2nd/3rd problem: Middle selection ("Light Wash" I think) and left the machine running overnight. Woke up and it was still running both times. The machine appears to be stuck in the last, "Heavy" cycle as when I opened the door the cycle lights are:

1st (Rinse): ON
2nd (Glass): OFF
3rd (Light): ON
4th (Normal): ON
5th (Heavy): FLASHING

The washing continued when I closed the door again. The water inside is warm (not especially hot).

With it stuck running it sounds like it is washing for a short while, pausing, TWO BEEPS, then repeat.

Could someone please advise me?

Thanks very much.
