I have 3 windows I can not open as the handle mechanism in the window the part in which the square shaft of the handle sits in has Brocken up. I need to open them to be able to replace the complete mechanism. These windows are about 12 yrs old I do not know the manufacturer but the keys have the name Arthur shaw on them.
You don't need to replace the exact manufacturer mechanism as long as you obtain the same size. .With a bit of jiggery pokery you will get the new one to fit even a totally different make..
