How do I "use *#9900#"?

My Samsung GT-P1010 tablet keeps coming up with the message "Process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. Try again. Use *#9900# to take log". The only option I then get is to force close. I don't know how to "use *#9900#". The error seems to have no effect on the operation of the device, but the message is a nuisance and I would like to get rid of it.

Done that. It makes no difference.

I've found this link:

An advice I've found (from a Motorola representative, but should apply to any Android device):
Take out the SDcard.
Go to settings--> apps--> manage apps--> all--> media storage and delete chache and data
Reboot your phone and leave it for 5 minutes. The internal media storage will rebuild (this will not delete any data).
