I try to clean lens, put in new DVDs but always get the same results. If I keep opening and closing tray for about an hour it might play the disk. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem with my el cheapo Provision DVD player. I opened it up and looked what happened after inserting the disc. Uhm... nothing! The disc just won't spin up, so the player reports no disc.

I guess either the drive itself or the cable to the drive is broken...
