For many years my AIWA Compact Disk Stereo System (CX-810) will only accept some CD's. After selecting the track it pauses for a few seconds but does not play. Does anyone know is these old AIWA systems have particular problems reading modern CD's or could it be something else such as an circuitry probelm on the PC board? Any help please!

Replace laser head KSS-210A with or without CD mechanism. You can change it with original 210A or with KSS-210B, KSS-210C, KSS-212A, KSS-212B, KSS-212C. Important: search and buy laser head Made in Japan, not China (for better quality).
