my central locking does not respond to the key fob. The battery is new and the key fob illuminates as normal.
Using the key activates central locking and unlocking to all doors. I'm pretty sure that the fuse situated in the main fuse board is ok, although I did have a problem deciphering the symbols.
Hope that's enough info, but please get back to me if more is needed As stated it's a Ford galaxy year 2000 2.3 petrol. Thank's in anticipation, jeff Allen.

I had the same problem with my central locking system. I took it to a local locksmith and he reset the system for me. Didn't need to reprogram anything.

fob needs recoding look in your manual if you have one ford recoded mine for free when ihad car serviced they normal charge £30 you owners manual will tell u how to recode if u dont have one please repost your ad and iwill tell u the instructions but please be warned u need patience to code one of these damn things its stressfull ..believe me
well anyways ...good luck and just give us a shout if u need the recode instructions please be ware dont try the ones off the net ..they dont work...also another tip worse case sinario if it turns out u need anew fob buy one off ebay it will save u a fortune ford or fraud as icall them charge 70-80plus
