After the TV has shut down: press and hold both the Device (Input) and Menu buttons on the front panel until the green light starts flashing. The green light will flash a two digit code: 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, etc
If the code is 2-2 indicates a short protect fault, which is usually caused by a failure in the convergence section. The typical repair involves replacing the convergence ICs (integrated circuits), and testing/replacing two small pico fuses. This is a very common failure in these sets. It is important, however, to first verify that the fuses are bad before proceeding with the repair. This is the most common failure.If not repeat to get code then look it up.
