Taking a still in Portrait view ie: turning camera sideways I can turn the resulting photo shows on my computer to portrait verticle.

Can the same be done with a video?

Yep you can!

This is the answer to my own question and may help others like me who have a bad habit of

1. not reading FULLY instructions.
2. bad title/tool bar observations on Window movie maker which has clearly a rotate facility same as stills. My principles mean I have to admit to the title below.
Altogether now 'Isn't he a dickhead!
