can you please help?
i have loads ofpop ups saying yor computer is being infected with a backdoor trojan that allows remote attackers to perform various malicious actions, i've ran a few virus checks and nothing turns up affected, how can i get rid of these pop ups, they also say they can get my passwords etc. it's quite worrying, please help me, also whilst been connected to the net for about 35 minutes it seems to cut of, not shut down but when i go to change the page it'll say page cannot be displayed and i'd have to restart the computer to get it working again. thanks

As long as you have a firwewall (EG zonealarm- which is free) and antivirus you should be fine.Pop ups are a pain, and most will get them. You can however download popup blockers.
Remember this pop up is for anyone accessing that page so its not just you that will see it.By clicking on it you'll prolly open a link to a webpage that WILL install a virus so just ignore them and make sure you have antivirus and a firewall up and running.
As for the IE shutting down you could try reinstalling it, under add /remove programs within windows as it may be corrupted.

I dont know if you have any security systems on your computer,if not then download SPYBOT SEARCH & DESTROY,KERIO PERSONAL FIREWALL,and GRISOFT AVG ANTI VIRUS free edition,these are all free on the web,load them follow instructions and scan your comp and press fix problems prompt when asked,I run these every week they are great.Good luck.
