re Fisher and Paykel Dishwasher Model DW820?

Need to remove broken shards of glass which are causing crunching noise during wash cycle
Steve, October 2014
If they are making that noise they must be down in the wash pump. If the filters are in good condition & in place properly they should not of gotten down that far. Big job now to lay machine down on the side. Remove lower floor tray. Remove wash pump motor from machine. Open end cover over impellor to clean out. Just hope it has not broken the impellor vanes. If it has you have bigger problems. Unless you are really good at repairs, I would not run it any more and call out a service person. Running it may break off the vanes.
